I've been getting a lot of calls and emails asking if Medicare covers this or that lately.

Here's a couple simple ways to find out if Medicare (and a Medicare Supplement) will pay for a service:

1) Ask the provider of the service (doctor, hospital etc.) if Medicare will pay for it (They will know) or...

2) go to
http://medicare.gov/ and right on the front screen there's a dialog box you can type in the key words for the service to see if it's covered.

3) Call Medicare and ask if the service is covered: 1-800-MEDICARE (1-800-633-4227)

If Medicare "approves" (covers) it then they will pay (after any deductible) and a Medicare Supplement will pay (based the benefits of the particular plan they have).

If Medicare "approves" it then they will pay (after any deductible) and a supplement will pay (based the benefits of the particular plan they have).

Hope this helps - if not, we are here to help with your questions.  -- 1-800-443-5149 / todd@lrcassoc.com
