Well, it was a long and tiring weekend but my oldest daughter, Nicole, graduated from Plattsburgh this past weekend.
The "motel" we stayed at wasn't great (that's what you get for procrastinating) since all the good ones were booked. The trip was long (260 miles EACH WAY). The food up there is bad. But you know what, when all the dust settled my daughter is a graduate and is now back home with us. So it was worth the effort.
Seeing the smile and sense of accomplishment on her face was worth the whole trip.

Have you ever received a check out of the blue or one that was for much more than you expected? It's a great feeling, right? The big smile that lights up your face says it all.
Well, I recently had the really pleasurable experience of opening up our latest commission statement (from our Medicare Supplement carrier of all places) and seeing an unexpected $80,000 of additional premium listed right at the top! I'm still smiling.
Now, the check hasn't come in yet but it's nice to see what is en-route!
